Unsigned Senior Andrew Burton Talks Top Five

At the Top Prospect Games in June, Middletown's Andrew Burton showed two-way potential for the next level.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect sat 81-84 mph on the mound while showing sub 7.0 speed and the versatility to play the infield or the outfield at the next level.

As it stands, he has five schools on his mind.

Lake Erie College - "I love the area and coaching staff."

Ashland University - "I love their campus and baseball atmosphere."

University of Northwestern Ohio - "They started recruiting me early and make me feel wanted."

IPFW - "They have shown good communication and interest."

Morehead State - "They just started recruiting me lately. I love the new young staff."

Burton, who currently holds a 2.78 GPA, is visiting the University of Northwestern Ohio this weekend and has plans to visit Ashland on September 29th.
