By Chris Kemlo
PBR Ontario Director of Scouting

From now until the start of the 2015 season, Prep Baseball Report Ontario will bring you in-depth team previews throughout the entire state. If your coach has not filled out the survey please have him do so through this link.

Along with the team previews, the 2015 Team Rankings will be releasing sometime late February and we hope to bring a Q&A session to discuss the rankings.

Also, we will be releasing the preseason All Ontario Teams sometime in early March.

General Notes:

The Windsor Selects 16u are coming off a 39 win season in 2014 and look to continue their strong tradition at the 16u level. Runner up to Ontario Blue Jays in the PBLO loop last summer, the Selects will once again compete for a PBLO title.

Graduating a handful of players to the 18u Selects team, Coach Tony Simone and Coach Marc Picard will look to a balanced attack at the plate, and count on a veteran team with 8 over agers to help carry the load.

Defense should be a strong point with the catcher’s leading the way, while arms will be the biggest question mark with the amount of depth that the 16u Selects have to go deep in its tournament schedule.

Either way, we expect a strong summer from Windsor at both age groups, while both look to compete for a PBLO title in 2015, and make an impact in tournament play across the United States.
