Zach Laurie C / RHP / Crestwood Secondary School, ON / 2020Background: As the Future Games draws closer, and one trial already in the books, there was a name out on the east end of Toronto that kept coming up in conversation over the last couple of weeks. Word got around that a 16-year-old catcher named Zach Laurie was playing for the 18U Stouffville Yankees in the Midget Elite League. We made our way down there, and without a doubt, he put on a show as the runaway best player on the field that day. |
