With the 2015 season vastly approaching and PBR Ontario's Preseason College Prospect Showcase in Kitchener this January, the nation’s capital Open ID in February, followed by numerous organizations heading to the sunshine state in March, we highlight some senior players from the 2015 class who look to have success early into the year.

Each of the following players are currently uncommitted but with strong springs, should not stay that way for long.

Top Unsigned Seniors Looking For Success Early In 2015

Matt Ianni, RHP, 2015
Ranking: 8th in Ontario's 2015 class and 281st overall
Background: The 6-foot-8, 230-pound righty from Ottawa finished off the 2014 season with a strong performance in Jupiter at the end of fall. Ianni will look to carry that into the start of this year, as he will be at MLB Bureau Camp then off with Team Canada in March. Ianni saw his velocity fluctuate last year, which isn’t that uncommon among pitchers with his size and the amount of innings he racked up over the last year and a half. Plenty of upside as Ianni has been up to 91 mph with his fastball, and has shown the secondary stuff is there. Currently ranked 8th in the province and 281st overall, Ianni will have offers to choose from on where to continue, and if the velocity and consistency come back to what he has shown, the draft interest will be there come June as well.
