Ontario Scouting Notes: 2015 Pitchers Update

This past weekend, the MLB Scouting Bureau made its annual stops in Ontario to see how some of the top talents in the province have progressed over the off-season. PBR Ontario was on hand and we give a quick look at some of the top performers.

We start with the 2015 class and some of the arms who stood out over the weekend.

Class of 2015 Arms


Michael Brettell, RHP, E.L. Crossley Secondary

Typical self, 88-89 mph with sink, worked bottom of the strike zone. Slider was 79-80 mph with good late tilt. Makeup and pitchability is there. Top ranked pitcher in the province.
