Background: Parente is an athletic 5-foot-9, 160-pound outfielder with plus speed who hits at the top of his lineup with his club team the Great Lake Canadians. Hits from the right side with balance and rhythm in swing. Contact, line drive hitter who sprays the gaps and works to keep hands inside ball. Puts together quality at-bats and hard contact, will bunt for hit and looks to be aggressive on the bases at all times. Solid defender with good reads, speed plays well and is accurate with arm strength.

Overview: Junior National Team player, ranked 2nd outfielder in 2017 class, top uncommitted player available as he is ranked 9th overall in Ontario rankings. Produces during games with dirt bag approach, gamer who seems to always be in the middle of big innings offensively. Looks to be one of the premier player in the CPBL this summer while competing for a spot in the outfield with Team Canada for the 18u world championships.
