Ontario Top Ten Breakdown: Top Viewed Prospect Profiles - #5 Dondrae Bremner

Dondrae Bremner#5 Dondrae Bremner, SS, Bill Crothers, 2017
Background: Bremner is an athletic 6-foot-2, 175-pound shortstop with smooth defensive actions up the middle of diamond to go along with a short, compact stroke at the plate from the left side. Bremner plays all over the diamond in the infield with the Junior National Team, showing his versatility and athleticism, but will play shortstop at the next level. Produces quality at-bats with a line drive stroke, uses the whole field and looks to keep his hands inside the ball. A strong defender with proper footwork and soft hands, moves well with body control and arm strength across the diamond. Above average speed as he has best 60 time of 6.70 this year.

Overview: The University of Cincinnati commit looks to have a strong spring with the Junior National Team and his club team the Toronto Mets, as he continues to get more looks from the pro side as he matures, develops, and adds strength. The athletic shortstop with young features comes in as the #3 spot in the 2017 rankings while overall Bremner is ranked 94th.
