Scouting Report

5.11.17
Clarke is an athletic build that will continue to develop physically at 6-foot-3, 190-pounds. Was not an ideal day with weather conditions for ProCase with bitter cold winds but Clarke showed good bat path during BP while the arm strength improved from the outfield as he was 84 mph. The long legged Clarke moves well as he has run multiple 6.65 and 6.68 in the past and shows the hand eye you look for at the plate. The power has a chance to come as he matures physically and the tools are there to make Clarke a special player in the 2018 class.
60-Yard Dash: 6.95
Exit Velocity: 86
OF Velocity: 84

3.8.17
Clarke is now an impressive 6-foot-3, 187-pounds and starting to fill into his frame, with room to still add size and strength. We envision Clarke could be at 6-foot-4, 200 plus pounds with all kinds of athleticism when all said and done. A true centre-fielder who moves with ease and gets to balls in the gap, Clarke sees ball well off bat and covers plenty of ground. At the plate, the swing is still raw and stiff at times, but the ball is loud off the bat and his consistency is starting to come with his swing. High ceiling guy who could catch helium in 2017. His best numbers to date are:
60-Yard Dash: 6.68
Exit Velocity: 87 mph
OF Velocity: 78

6/24/15
5-foot-11, 138-pound 2018 with athletic actions. Will get stronger with a projectable body to add strength. Moves well in the outfield with good reads off the bat. Ran a 7.36 in the 60-yard dash with easy effort, should improve as he matures. Arm works, can get under the ball at times, still gets carry on the ball, velocity was 72 mph from the outfield. At the plate, hits from wide stance with hands back in good position, small pickup to load with front foot. Loose swing with some extension. exit velocity was 68 mph. Makings of a solid player with reps and development.
