The Ontario Big Board: Top Uncommitted 2015 Prospects

With the early signing period over, we take a look at some of the big names still left on the board in Ontario. Ontario saw six out of the top 25 sign letters of intent for the upcoming 2015 season at major D1 programs, top junior college schools, NAIA, and the D2 level.

Over the past several years, it’s not uncommon to see a lot of Ontario players still uncommitted heading into the new year, leaving prospects scrambling and second guessing themselves and their baseball future.

Whether the right offer was not presented, still holding out for that particular school of choice, or a much needed winter to build strength and continue to work on your craft, just realize that there is still time and there are still colleges looking to fill out their rosters. Go ahead and remove your finger off the panic button.

On the mound, top rated pitcher Michael Brettell decided the time wasn’t right to sign with a program. Brettell enjoyed a successful summer and carried that into the fall, making the Canadian Junior National Team and pitching well in Florida against professional hitters.
