Will Droll LHP / OF / St. Ignatius, ON / 2021

Background: Droll, a 6-foot, 165-pound left-hander who plays for the Toronto Mets but lives in up north in Thunder Bay is a 2021 arm that has a chance to be a big riser this coming 2020 season. Droll is a three-pitch guy but mainly will work fastball and curveball combo in games. We’ve seen Droll numerous times and he is always in the 82-85 range with the fastball while the curveball is the big separator as it’s a downer with sharp and late bite in the 72-74 range. The breaking ball has swing and miss written all over it and the velocity suggests there will be more to come on the fastball as well.
