Greater Latrobe scored runs in five of seven innings including seven in their second and third at bats to win going away. The Wildcats racked up 14 hits, played errorless baseball and got five strong innings from Seton Hill recruit Jared Kollar (pictured right).
Kollar worked five innings allowing one run on three hits while striking out nine. The two-way prospect also had a big offensive day going 3-for-5 with a double and four RBI. Virginia Tech recruit Zach Kokoska (3-4, R), Dan Stas (2-3, HR, 3 R, 2 RBI), Isaac Echard (2-3, 2 R) and Antonio Noble (2-3, R, 2 RBI) also had big days at the plate for the Wildcats.
Greater Latrobe moves to 9-2 with the win while Franklin Regional falls to 7-3 with the loss.
