No. 6 Trent Vietmeier

Trent VietmeierPBR Notes: 2015 Preseason All-State Showcase - February 15, 2015 Vietmeier looks the part of a college upperclassman at 6-foot-4, 210-pounds. The righty worked effortlessly from a high 3/4 arm slot sitting 84-86 while commanding the zone with significant run to his fastball. The sophomore gave a glimpse of his upper end velocity when he reached back for 89 mph on his final delivery of his bullpen session. Vietmeier showcased two additional quality offerings in a 75 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation and a 75 mph changeup with run and sink. Both pitches are thrown with above average arm speed and compliment Vietmeier's power fastball well.

Vietmeier has since gone on to make his college commitment to LSU and is now consistently sitting 88-91 while topping at 93 mph this past summer. Currently ranked No. 2 in PA and No. 23 in the PBR combined Class of 2017 rankings, Vietmeier is regarded as one the the top draft prospects in Pennsylvania's 2017 high school class.
