2019 Ontario Procase - Uncommitted Position Players

Chris Kemlo and PBR Ontario Staff
PBR Ontario Director of Scouting

We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ontario's 2019 Ontario Procase. This was a great opportunity for 2019-2021 prospects to be identified before season, create and update their profiles, as well see where they stack up with their peers. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase.

In the coming weeks, we will be adding and updating profiles for each of the players in attendance, including complete analysis and video.

2019 Ontario Procase - Uncommitted Position Players

Nathaniel Ochoa SS / OF / Assumption Catholic, ON / 2022

Report: The youngest position player at the ProCase, Ochoa fit right in with the best in Ontario. The frame at 6-foot-2, 166-pound is one to dream on, he will add strength and develop into a physical player. He put together a solid BP round, at this point in time, he will spray the ball around with a line-drive approach, but it’s easy to tell that power will be a part of his game down the road. His actions in the infield are athletic and fairly clean, he has a feel for playing shortstop and has continuously improved. He ran his best 60-yard dash at 7.26 on the day, a considerable increase in a short amount of time. It’s expected that Ochoa will be a yearly attendee of the ProCase as he continues to develop into one of the best in our 2022 class.
