2020 Rankings Update: Uncommitted Arms

Trey Sofio
Louisiana Scouting Director

Summer recruiting is in full swing and with that comes the emergence of players who have broken onto the scene, standing out in the summer circuit. The updated rankings have revealed the depth of the 2020 class and though 17 of the top 20 are verbally committed, there is still a wealth of uncommitted players in the class. In The Five, we will begin a breakdown of players to give a more in-depth look at some who have come on strong this summer and began to separate themselves from the pack.

In our first edition of The Five, we will give you five uncommitted arms who have seen their stock rise this summer. The Class of 2020 Showcase brought on Beau Blanchard (Loreauville HS), Top Prospect Games displayed solid performances by Henry Shuffler (Episcopal of Acadiana) and Cole Cressend (Mandeville) while the prep season and  showcase tournaments have provided us with the emergence of Cameron Gauthier (Opelousas Catholic), a future Games participant and Will Hellmers (Jesuit HS).
