Day 1 from On the Hunt’s trip down to Dallas was headlined by a double-header with highly-touted switch-hitting infielder, 2020 SS Cole Foster, getting at-bats from both sides of the plate along with a collection of ground ball opportunities. However, the big takeaways came from a pair of sophomore arms, one a left-handed LSU-recruit, and the other an uncommitted right-hander who is sure to open eyes the rest of the spring and into the summer.


SS Cole Foster (Plano HS, TX), an Auburn recruit, is one of the top hitters in Texas, as well as the country. Listed at 6 feet, 185 pounds, he sports lean, defined strength throughout an athletic frame with more prominent muscle in the upper-half, and is probably a shade under the listed 6-foot height. It was a perfect day to catch him in a doubleheader as he hit from both sides of the plate, and also collected a handful of opportunities at shortstop.
