Shipyard / PBR Showdown

Day 1 – Friday March 5, 2021

Ashley Ridge HS

Nick Vaughn, RHP, 2021
Tall, lanky frame.  Athleticism present.  Simple rocker and turn, working to load the front hip.  Short strider works with some cross-fire.  Medium arm action gets to a high-3/4 slot.  Good arm speed.  Fastball fluctuates between 81-86 with some life to the arm side.  Short darting slider was inconsistent at 68.   Featured a change-up that created discomfort with swing and miss.  Good arm speed created deception.  Has fade at 74-76.
