Legion Collegiate

Joey Hylinski, RHP, 2021
Athletic 6-foot-1, 166 pounds.  Room available as he continues to add strength.  Loose hips with good bend.  Simple delivery working on-line and level.  Clean, loose arm swing to an athletic high-3/4 slot.  Above average arm speed.  Fastball ranged 83-88.  Arm side run out of the hand when working to the arm side.  Lacked command of the arm side early.  Worked down zone to the glove side.  Fastball spin peaked at 2390 rpm.  Slider has out pitch potential, tracking out of the hand on a wider path than the fastball.  Sitting 75-79, the slider has some length, darting with 10/4 shape late.  Created swing and miss and awkward takes when the fastball was located to the arm side.  Slider spin ranged 2350-2490 rpm.  Frame, delivery, and arm action suggest more coming as he continues to mature.
