Inside the Rankings: 2020 Catchers

Brett Harrison
Nevada Scouting Director

We continue to dive into the top ranked prospects at each position in each class to help bring to light just how deep the 2020 class is in Nevada. Creating the PBR Rankings are never an easy process, but with the help of our Scout Days, prior PBR events as well as PBR Scouts and associates watching more games, tracking and reporting on more players than any other anybody else in the industry, we are excited to take a break down each class at each position over the coming days.

The senior class has a wealth of talent at each position as you have seen in the previous Inside the Rankings with both the outfield and infield groups riddled with projectable prospects and that continues with this group of catchers. Oregon commit, Josiah Cromwick, leads the pack as the top catcher and #2 overall in the 2020 class followed by CSN commits, Fabian Torres and Dominyck Bullard. This group of catchers is rich in above average receivers, some of which who are still uncommitted, making it position to watch closely as colleges see how the chips fall in the coming weeks and address their needs at this premium position.

Below we take a look at a handful of the top ranked inielders in the the Nevada 2020 class.
