On Sunday, Feb. 7, Prep Baseball Report will host the 19th edition of its prestigious, flagship event: the Super 60 Pro Showcase. Since the event’s inception in 2003, more than 300 players have been selected in the MLB Draft, including 22 first-round picks and 25 second-rounders.

We started our our march toward the Super 60 earlier this month, by highlighting the prospects set to join us, shining a light on their impressive player profiles that they've groomed through their high school years and beyond.

2019 INDIANA STATE GAMES
Cincinnati commit. 5-foot-11, 180 pounder. Thursday sat 85-87, with a mid-70’s breaking ball. Arm speed is quick, simple, repeatable delivery. Offensivley, Harker has the ability to spray line drives to either side of the infield and stretch extra bases regularly. Level swing plane, average to above average bat speed, and some swagger. Defensively is clean with a good arm and the ability to throw from a couple different angles.

Garrett Harker, RHP/3B, Lebanon HS, 2021, 5 foot 11, 175 pounds, showed great feel for the barrel at the plate using a barrel lift to get to a get separated launch position. Has bat speed as he posted an exit velo of 83 mph with a balanced approach, and will develop gap power over time. Showed good 3B/2B actions defensively with plenty of arm strength across the field. On the mound, Garrett throws from a mid ¾ slot and a shorter quick arm action. Fastball was 83-86 with some ASR. CH was a good pitch with fade action and sat 75-77. SL has tight spin and sharp break and sat 73-76. Delivery is simple and repeatable and arm is quick, should add velo as he matures. Harkur is a very good two-way talent and is a good get for the University of Cincinnati.
