Today, we will highlight the standouts from the Team Beast Scout Day. From the 2022 class to the 2025 class, there were standouts all over the field. Check them out.

Standouts

2022 Blake Albritton, INF, Keswick Christian

Like the athleticism Albritton showed in his lean 6-foot, 165 pound frame. Ran the 2nd fastest 60 time at the event with a 6.94. Showed twitchy actions with a quick first step at short. Offensively, shows a simple line drive approach. Hands are quick as he was able to drive the ball back up the middle.

2023 Aiden Alvarez, LHP/OF, Osceola

Tall, lanky, high waisted frame at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds. Alvarez is a two-way athlete but the mound is where I liked him most. Athletic delivery with a clean, loose arm action. Worked two different arm slots, but the ¾ slot looked the sharpest. Sat 78-80 with the fastball mixing a 61-62 mph CB. Velo will tick up as he adds strength to his frame.

2024 Andreas Alvarez, C/RHP, Osceola

Alvarez showed a lot of advanced tools for a young 2024. Short compact swing at the plate showing potential to use both sides of the field with intent. Feet move well in the infield and outfield. Behind the plate, was quick out of the crouch with smooth lateral movements. Overall, there is a lot to like as an all around player.

2025 Jacob Amerman, RHP/OF, Osceola

Amerman has a tall lanky 6-foot-1, 155 pound frame. The young 2025 showed upside as a two way. Offensively, showed present bat speed with a gap to gap approach. There is potential for power as he fills out his frame. On the mound, uses his long frame well to drive downhill to extension. Fastball up to 75 mph with more to come.
