Walt Jones

The 2019 summer baseball season has come to an end and many players have wrapped up the summer circuit and made a name for themselves. The updated rankings revealed the depth of talent in Louisiana’s 2021 class and saw lots of shakeup throughout the top 100. In The Five, we breakdown 5 players to give a more in-depth look at some who have emerged this summer and began to put themselves on college recruiters’ radars.

In this edition of The Five, we will give you five uncommitted position players in the 2021 class that performed well at PBR events throughout this summer. The Underclass Trials brought on Hunter Herring (Ouachita Christian HS, LA), the Underclass Games saw solid performances by Anthony Priester (Live Oak HS, LA) and Codi Williams (St. Michaels HS, LA) while the Future Games provided us with the another quality look at Kael Babin (East Ascension HS, LA), and Casey Artigues (St. Thomas Aquinas HS, LA).
