Offensively, hits in a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into shift of weight, short knee to knee leg kick and proper load. Generates premium bat speed through the zone. Proper path w/ extension, barrel stays in the zone for a long time. Balanced w/ quiet, repeatable swing, head does not move. Shows spin recognition, idea of strike zone. Above average pull power, w/ projectable power to all fields. Average runner on this day w/ cold conditions, wet field. Defensively, projects in a corner w/ plus arm strength, carry through target. Was not tested in game. Competitive, wants to win. Also pitched, which serves as a good fallback option, as he repeated his delivery and overpowered hitters. Strike-thrower who pounded the zone early w/ his two pitch mix before he began to tire later in the outing. Attacked w/ FB w/ ride through the zone and power CB w/ tight rotation, late bite. |
