Most Viewed Player Profiles of 2014: No. 10 Ben Smith

As you well know, PBR Tennessee began operations in 2014, and we felt it would be interesting to take a look at the ten most viewed Tennessee player profiles on the PBR website since we began operations.

Though we began scouting games and providing information on players in the late spring and early summer, we didn't run our first event in the state until August 24. Therefore, as we look at the ten most viewed profiles from 2014, it will only include profile views from August 24 to now.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound, switch-hitting first baseman impressed at our inaugural Unsigned Senior Games event on Sept. 28 with his ability to hit from both sides of the plate.  Smith showcased a 91 mph exit velocity from the left side and 88 mph from the right side and showed he has the ability to drive the baseball from both sides in his round of batting practice.  He also showed quick, natural instincts in the field as a solid defensive first baseman.  The Hendersonville HS senior committed to John A Logan, a junior college in Illinois, following the event.
