At 6-foot-2, 195-pounds, third baseman Zach Sharber (2017, Ravenwood HS) has good corner size and has proven this summer to have the pop in his bat to go along with it.

Sharber burst onto the scene at the PBR Tennessee Underclass Games in June at MTSU. While his stat line at the event didn’t look overly impressive (he went 1-for-4), his lone hit was a long home run to left field in addition to making a few hard outs.

Fast forward a month when Sharber played in the PBR Kentucky 16U Invitational Tournament at Western Kentucky University as a member of Team PBR. He was instrumental in helping lead the team to a 4-0 record and tournament championship. Hitting in the middle of the lineup, Sharber went 5-for-12 with two doubles and four RBI, a performance that earned him First Team All-Tournament honors.

With two years of high school baseball remaining, Sharber still has plenty of room to add functional strength to his frame and has the potential to be a consistent power threat at the next level.
