Tennessee Player of the Week: Hardin Valley Academy OF Dylan Harris

Choosing our first Player of the Week this season proved to be no easy task as there were several players nominated who clearly had a standout week last week. We appreciate all of the nominations that were sent in, but after sorting through all of the stats, one player clearly stood out in earning the honor for the first week of the season.

Dylan Harris had a week with numbers you might expect to see out of a video game. In five games last week, the 5-foot-8, 175-pound, junior center fielder from Hardin Valley Academy put on an offensive show. Harris went 13-for-18 with six doubles, a triple, three home runs, and 11 RBI in the five-game span from March 9-14. In addition, he also walked twice and added a stolen base for good measure.

It’s hard to imagine a player getting off to a hotter start to the season, and Harris picked up where he left off last week, going 5-for-8 with a triple in a double-header yesterday.

For his performance on the field last week, Dylan Harris has been selected as the PBR Tennessee Player of the Week.
