SCOUT NOTES
Justin Lange, 2020, RHP, Llano - Dallas Baptist Commit
Frame: 6-foot-4, 220-pounds, Athletic, wide back, long arms
Pitching: FB up to 99, has sat comfortably 92-94, 93-96, and 95-99 in 3 different outings on the year. Commands the fastball to both sides of the plate with late armside action with an explosive yet effortless delivery. SL 80-81 with plenty of room to get better but has shown improvement in recent outings
Delivery: starts on the first base side of the rubber, stride slightly across body, throws from low ¾ slot. Shows natural athletic ability throughout the delivery. Natural rhythm as he separates his hands and gets down the mound. Langes still has room to grow and improve as a pitcher but has been improving his draft stock greatly this spring.
