Each week, PBR Texas will be showcasing players that had stellar performances from across the state. The talent level in Texas is second-to-none, and our Scouting Staff is covering games and evaluating players on a daily basis. Here is a list of players that had outstanding performances in round three of the playoffs.

Ryan Hill RHP / 2B / Mansfield Legacy, TX / 2018Went 5-for-8 offensively .625 AVG., w/ a 3B, 5 RBI. Pitched complete game shutout in Round 3 vs Burleson Centennial. 5 IP, 4 H, 2 K

J.T. Thompson SS / Wakeland, TX / 2017Thompson came into game 1 in relief in the 5th inning and earned the Win after Wakeland scored 3 runs in the 6th and 7th innings. Also in game 2, JT singled in Collin McDuffee with 2 outs in the bottom of the 6th to put Wakeland up 2-1. He also made 2 great defensive plays at SS. One going up the middle to save a hit and get a force out at 2B, and the other on a sliding catch into foul territory to end the inning.

Collin McDuffee 2B / Wakeland, TX / 2017Hit his 2nd HR of the year in the top of the 7th in game 1. In game 2, he worked a 2 out walk, then stole 2B in the bottom of the 6th. He then came in to the score the go ahead run on JT's RBI single.
