Fall Scout Blog: Mets Scout Team (Week 2)

Toby Bicknell
Texas Scouting Director

DALLAS, TX - Continuing our in-depth coverage of baseball this fall, here is a look at a handful of players from the Mets Scout Team that stood out last week. As promised, we got more video of the position players last week, but we still have updates on several arms with video. First, lets look at a talented group of position players.

HITTERS

+ 2019 3B Logan Kohler (Little Elm HS) is quickly moving up the Texas rankings, positioning himself as one of the top position players in the state. The Oklahoma commit stands 6-foot-2, 180-pounds, hitting from the left side of the plate, he has bat speed, rhythm and leverage that projects for even more power in the future. A natural athlete, he plays third base at a high level and will most likely stay there not only in college, but at the professional level. Good runner for a corner guy. Walked in his first two at-bats, then singled twice through the right side, driving in a run, then struck out in his last AB.
