Caden Sorrell OF / LHP / Marcus, TX / 2023Sorrell’s combination of speed and power is sure to elicit plenty of admiration from the scouting community with a strong spring. Carrying one of the more impressive frames in the class at 6-foot-4, 195-pounds, the Texas A&M recruit is also a premium runner with 6.46-speed. A left-handed hitter with considerable power potential, Sorrel demonstrated the ability to get off big swings with controlled aggression while participating at the Texas State Games in September, and also was able to change planes while making adjustments deep in counts. An all-around athlete with a high-ceiling, Sorrell has the tools to play himself into Day 1 consideration in the spring.
