Each week, PBR Texas will be showcasing a Hitter Of The Week. The talent level in this state is second-to-none, and our Scouting Staff is covering games and evaluating players on a daily basis. This weeks winner comes from Lovejoy HS.
2019 C Luke Stine
In Thursday night's district game vs. North Forney, he hit a Grand Slam to tie the game and then a walkoff home run in the bottom of the 7th to win the game. Stine came back on Saturday and had an RBI 2B and another 3 Run Homer. Stine also pitched the last 4 1/3 innings to win the game. The junior finished the week with 6 hits, 2B, 3 HR, and 9 RBI in 2 games.
Stine will be in attendance at the DFW Top Prospect Showcase this summer.
