JUPITER, FL - Prep Baseball Report Texas is working to become your #1 source for high school and travel baseball news and notes. So when teams from Texas, pack up and travel to Florida, we tag along to watch some of the most talented players from our state compete against teams from all over the country. The four day tournament provided our staff the opportunity to lock-in and evaluate nine teams from Texas. Matthew Stary, OF/INF, Cypress Falls HS, 2017
Physically impressive 6-foot-3, 175-pound athlete, lean strength in frame with room for continued development. Hit in three-hole against Sandlot. Relaxed, balanced approach, simple and strong to the ball, above-average bat speed, leverage in swing. Smoked a liner at the left fielder in first at-bat, and also dropped in a single over second baseman's head. Moves around athletically in centerfield.

Khalil Robinson, 3B, Klein HS, 2017
6-foot-2, 220 pound frame. Physically strong, developed lower half, wide-shouldered athlete, cuts an imposing presence in the box. Aggressive approach, free swinger with advanced bat speed and strength in hands. Pull-side approach, ripped a pair of singles in first two at-bats to left field.

Blake Brogdon, RHP, Cypress Woods HS, 2018
6-foot-2, 185-pound strong, athletic frame. Works from a high-¾ slot with a short quick arm action. His fastball ranged from 84-86 mph. His curveball has a 12-6 action with great depth at 72 mph. His changeup was 77-78 mph with good depth.

Logan Allen, OF, Magnolia HS, 2017
5-foot-11, 160-pound right-handed hitter, loose, athletic body with quick hands. Ripped a double to left field and singled up the middle in first two at-bats; runs the bases well.

Ryan Rusinovich, RHP, Cypress Woods HS, 2018
5-foot-11, 160-pound right-handed pitcher. Sat 79-81, topped at 82. His curveball was 67-68 mph with loose spin.

Kevin Hoy, RHP, Klein Oak HS, 2018
6-foot-2, 185-pound, solid frame. Works from a high-¾ slot with his fastball sitting 82-83 mph with a 71 mph curveball.

Zachary McAdams, SS/3B, Cypress Woods HS, 2017
6-foot, 185-pound frame. Showed good actions at shortstop with solid footwork and an athletic frame.

Garrett Kellogg-Clarke, C, Cypress Woods HS, 2017
6-foot-1, 195-pound frame. Left-handed hitter with present strength and bat speed. Throws the barrel with some pull-side pop. Good arm strength behind the plate.
