McLennan vs. Grayson

DENISON, TX - McLennan and Grayson split games of a double-header, here are some of the highlights from what we saw.

POSITION PLAYERS

+ The two and three hole hitters for Grayson are both D1 commits. Recent Arkansas commit, Soph. 2B Braydon Webb (Grayson) had a big day at the plate hitting a couple of home runs. In the bottom of the seventh in game one, and down to their last out, down two runs, Webb sent an oppo nuke over the right field fence to tie the game. His very next at-bat in the first inning of game two, he went oppo taco again for a solo shot.

+ Soph. 1B Brandon Talley is a ULL commit hitting in the three hole and is a physical, athletic left-handed hitter at 6-foot-3, 215-pounds. Talley had a couple of doubles off the right field wall, flew out on the barrel to centerfield, and singled up the middle on a two strike changeup. Really like the way he moves around at first base, one of the better defenders I have seen over there in a while, easy to imagine that he plugs into the lineup every day for the Ragin’ Cajuns.
