ARLINGTON, TX - With a full slate of games and blue clear skies, Friday was an awesome day for baseball in the DFW Metroplex. So we headed to Arlington to see several games before finishing the day in Allen. Included in our North Texas Scout Blog today are six players, two Dallas Baptist commits, a Baylor commit, a Texas Tech commit, an uncommitted sophomore, an uncommitted senior.

Will Rigney, RHP, Midway HS, 2019
Baylor commit. At 6-foot-4, 190-pounds, Rigney has a projectable, strong, pitchers frame. The right-hander works from a high-¾ slot with a long arm stroke. Good tilt on his fastball at 89-91 with slight arm side run, topping out once at 92 in the first inning. His slider slider sat 76-78 the entire night with 11/5 shape. He flashed a couple of changeups that had heavy sink at 81 and 83 mph. Earned the win after going six scoreless, allowing one hit, zero runs, one walk, and striking out thirteen batters.
