FRANKLIN, T.X.- On October 27th, our PBR boot-on-the-ground staff held the Unsigned Senior Showcase at Franklin Ranch. This showcase featured 41 uncommitted prospects from every corner of the state. Today is a look at an in-depth analysis with scouting reports of all the catchers and outfielders in attendance. OUTFIELDERS 

Aidan Thomas, Ridge Point, 2020, OF
5-foot-6, 135-pounds, ran a 7.01 60-yard dash right out of the gates. Moved well to the ball in the outfield, had a short arm action with a throwing velocity of 78-mph. At the plate has a balanced setup with a simple swing producing line drives, had an exit velocity of 74 from the tee.

Gregory Czarnecky, Prosper, 2020, INF/OF
5-foot-8, 165-pounds, threw 83 mph from the Infield with a long arm path and solid carry on the throws, as well as 84 mph from the outfield. Left handed swing with a simple load and a flat stroke producing an exit velocity of 76 from the tee. Also ran a 7.32 60-yard dash.

Levy Hammack, Magnolia, 2020, C/OF
5-foot-11, 165-pounds, ran a 7.1 60-yard dash on the day. Plays both in the outfield and catcher. From the outfield throws with a short arm action and moved athletically to the ball and had a throwing velocity of 85 mph. Behind the dish, had pop-times of 2.02 to 2.12, accuracy was inconsistent to second base. At the plate, his swing worked around the ball and looked to want to pull the baseball. From the tee Hammack produced an exit velocity of 88 mph.

Aidan Heard, Porter, 2020, C/OF
Standing 5-foot-11, 185-pounds, ran a 7.47 60-yard dash, plays both catcher and the outfield. Throws with a loose arm with some effort from behind the dish was up to 75-mph and had a POP time of 2.05, Also had a throwing velocity of 81 from the outfield. At the plate showed a big swing with some bat speed in there producing an exit velocity from the tee of 77 mph.

Logan Shultz, Cornerstone Christian, 2020, OF
5-foot-11, 185-pounds, at the plate has a compact setup and swing, produced some topspin line drives, and had some effort in the swing, producing an exit velocity of 77 mph from the tee as well. In the outfield had a threw slightly uphill with a long transfer with a velocity of 75 mph. Shultz also ran a 7.54 60-yard dash on the day.

Nick Mueller, Clear Falls, 2020, OF
6-foot-1, 170-pounds, ran a 6.89 60-yard dash. In the outfield threw uphill some but was accurate and had a throwing velocity of 82 mph. At the plate Mueller dives to the ball some, hits across his body, worked around the ball some but was able to produce pull side line drives. Also produced an exit velocity of 87 mph from the tee.

Chody Span, Groesbeck, 2020, OF
6-foot-1, 170-pounds, ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. At the plate Span is a switch hitter, with loose hands and actions, producing line drives to all fields. On the tee was able to record and exit velocity of 76 from the right side and 73 from the left side. In the outfield Span threw with a short arm action, was slightly under the ball, but had a velocity of 82 mph.

Peyton Fox, Copperas Cove, 2020, OF
6-foot-2, 160-pounds, ran a 7.3 60-yard dash. In the field moved to the ball athletically, throws came in at 84 mph to the plate with inconsistent accuracy. At the plate had a balanced setup with a unique hand load producing an exit velocity of 78 mph from the tee.

Hunter Pennel, Wakeland, 2020, OF
6-foot-2, 165-pounds, ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. At the plate set up balanced and athletic, showed some bat speed and was able to produce an exit velocity of 82 from the tee. In the outfield had a throwing velocity of 79 mph.

Trent Cook, Needville, 2020, OF
6-foot-2, 200-pounds, at the plate has some moving parts but when right was able to drive balls to pull side hard. From the tee had an exit velocity of 85 mph. In the outfield the throws had good carry with a long release up to 89 mph. Cook also ran a 7.5 60-yard dash

Ryan Silva, Clarke, 2020, OF
5-foot-11, 165-pounds, in the outfield moved athletically to the ball with good feet, had some effort in his throws but was accurate and was able to throw up to 85 mph. At the plate, Silva has a balanced setup, direct path to the ball with his hands, and natural feel for the barrel, producing an exit velocity of 87 mph from the tee. Also ran a 7.29 60-yard dash

CATCHER ONLY

Matteo Martinez, Dawson, 2020, C
UTRGV commit. 5-foot-11, 215-pounds, at the plate has a flat swing with some stiffness to it, produced an exit velocity of 86 mph. Behind the plate had POP time of 2.11 with inconsistent accuracy and a throwing velocity of 73 mph. Martinez also ran a 8.06 60-yard dash.
