On Tuesday, June 24th, the PB Texas staff traveled to Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX, to host the Top Prospect Games: Fort Worth, an invite-only event for the class of 2026-2028.

More than 25 players made their way to TCU and participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Texas staff.

Today, we take a look at the scouting reports for all pitchers in attendance as well as rank the top 5 from the event.

TOP PITCHING PROSPECTS

1. Jacob Harms, Ranchview (TX), 2026
Positional Profile: RHP/1B RHP with great pitchers build, will add strength in future. Solid delivery, can be firmed. Long arm action shows arm speed now, must firm release point. FB touched 92 this outing, showed plus life to FB at times to arm side. Late, hard, bore in on RHH's. Slurvy/sweepy type breaking ball with near avg spin, must firm release. Gets under at times. Change developing pitch. Around strike zone with misses to arm side. Tough AB's for RHH's with release and life to FB. Breaking ball can play up when he lands FB in zone to arm side. Must firm release point for success. Has reliever look to me right now. Uncomfortable AB's for RHH's.
Body: 6-3, 196 pounds. Great pitchers build/frame to add strength.
Delivery: Stretch only, knee lift to waist with slight inward turn. Cross step delivery. Weak glove hand use. Solid finish.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm action, side arm slot, crossbody finish. Arm speed.
FB: T92, 90-92 mph. FB around zone this outing. Plus life at times, with tailing action to both sides of plate. Shows bore up/in. Expect to see improved velo in future. T2261, 2121 average rpm.
SL: 75-78 mph. Solid spin, sweepy/slurvy type action. Avg future. T2398, 2332 average rpm.
