Uncommitted Spotlight: Logan West

We continue our coverage of uncommitted players, spotlighting them to help maximize their exposure and assist them in the recruiting process. Today, we look at one of the top uncommitted outfielders in class of 2022, Logan West (Crimson Cliffs).

Scouting Report: Tall frame with a wiry lean athletic build at 6'2", with room to add strength. A former catcher that’s made the move to the OF with his athleticism and speed. Plays for the Team Utah ‘22s and faces good competition and excels. With 6.9/60 speed and long galloping strides, he fits well in the OF. He has an athletic setup at the plate, where he takes a large load into his back leg with a short leg kick. Tight turn around a good spine angle. Efficient hands with a direct bat path. Can hit to all fields. In the OF he fields out front and then takes his body toward his target with a slightly long arm action. He brings speed, athleticism, proj size and strength with the ability to thrive at the college level.
