2027

Paxton Healy 1B / LHP / Woods Cross, UT / 2027

We finally got Paxton out to an event after only having a chance to evaluate him in limited spring-ball action, and he did not disappoint. Pax stood out with an eye-opening performance anchored by an impressive, physical 6'3", 220 lb frame. The Senior asserted himself as a legitimate power threat from the left side, entering the box with clear intent to do damage and driving balls with true line-to-line power and consistent backspin throughout the BP round. For an athlete of his size, Healy moves well with impressive fluidity and ease around the bag at 1B, while displaying functional overall speed with a 7.3 mark in the 60. Combining raw power (up to 106+), barrel control, and adequate defensive mobility, Healy solidified his profile as an intriguing corner LH bat to immediately get a closer look at.

2028

Ty Wilson SS / OF / American Fork, UT / 2028

Ty impressed our staff once again with a physical, compact build that features clear present strength and a middle linebacker type look. A two-sport athlete who also plays football, Wilson plays the game hard, handles adversity well, and understands the subtle details that impact winning. Offensively, he brings a strong swing paired with reliable bat-to-ball skills and has shown a willingness to adjust from pitch to pitch. Up the middle, his smooth hands and footwork play cleanly, complemented by an arm that has reached 83 across the diamond. With a level head, a team-first mindset, and solid overall tools, Wilson represents a dependable 2028 prospect to keep an eye on moving forward and we anticipate to have a breakout season for the back to back 6A state champs.

Zach Hecht SS / RHP / Farmington, UT / 2028

Zach Hecht put together an impressive overall performance, highlighted by a standout athletic frame and high-level defensive traits. Standing at a physical 6'2", 180 lbs, the Farmington product displays real arm talent using a short, easy release that produces notable carry across the diamond and was up to 85 mph. His fluid footwork, instincts, and arm strength give him the look of a legitimate rising SS in the state. Offensively, he brings proven varsity production to the box, coming off a strong sophomore campaign where he logged 102 PA while hitting .348 with 31 hits. With his combination of physical projection, varsity success, and defensive upside, Hecht certainly elevated his profile as a key 2028 prospect to follow moving forward.

Aj Ayala SS / 2B / Woods Cross, UT / 2028

AJ put his high-level baseball instincts and proven varsity production on full display for the first time at our events, playing with the poise of someone raised in a strong baseball family. A high-IQ player who does whatever it takes to win, Ayala is an extremely tough out at the plate with a natural knack for finding the barrel. Defensively, he commands the middle infield with confidence and fluid movement, relying on very quick hands and a rapid release to get rid of the ball. He reads hops well and aggressively attacks the baseball to cut down throw distance, effectively neutralizing arm velocity gaps at SS for his class. Driven by sharp game sense and a winning mindset, Ayala projects as a dependable, highly competitive 2028 infielder who will fit into any locker room he walks into. Kid is a gamer!

Jack Schumers SS / OF / Fremont, UT / 2028

Jack made a strong first impression in his event debut, impressing with an overall solid performance at Corner Canyon on Saturday. Built with a lean, long, athletic 5'11" frame, Schumers offers clear physical upside as he continues to mature over the next two years. Up the middle at SS, he displayed smooth movement patterns and natural defensive actions that definitely play at the Varsity level. He swings a fluid bat from the right side with easy timing in the box and flahsed occasional pull side pop. With his solid athletic foundation and clean instincts on the dirt, Schumers enters the radar as an intriguing 2028 follow.

2029

Beckam Maxwell OF / RHP / Herriman, UT / 2029

Beckam has put together an impressive stretch over recent months, dating back to January where we first met him at one of our Winter Facility Hitters' Series, solidifying his profile as a top rising prospect in the 2029 class through multiple close evaluations. A tall, physical athlete, Maxwell carries himself with a quiet yet confident demeanor on the field. At the plate, he brings a strong swing with legitimate pull-side power, consistently staying behind and inside the ball with backspin LD's into the gaps. Entering Herriman's program under new head coach Crawford, we believe Maxwell possesses the raw athletic tools and refined offensive upside to position himself for a potential breakout varsity season.

Finley Peterman OF / RHP / Skyline, UT / 2029

Finley burst onto the radar following an impressive workout at the recent Ghost Utah Scout Day last month at the Univ of Utah, earning a spot inside the top 30 of our latest 2029 state rankings. The rising sophomore features a legitimate RH swing with clear intent to do damage while maintaining sharp feel for the barrel. He moves cleanly in the outfield, pairing quality speed with a strong arm and well-rounded tools on the grass. Beneath a quiet demeanor lies a fierce competitive drive, and you can really see he loves to compete and wants to win when the lights turn on, making Peterman an exciting 2029 prospect to follow closely heading into the spring season.

Karston Hafen 3B / 1B / Wasatch, UT / 2029

Having evaluated Karston numerous times in live gameplay prior to Saturday, getting a close-up look in a showcase environment provided a complete picture of his overall upside, most notably with the offense. Hafen features a strong offensive game anchored by a mature, aggressive approach in the box from the right side. He steps in with clear intent to do damage, never getting cheated and generating legitimate pull-side power with tendency to backspin the ball and occasional "big-league flyballs". Known for his ability to come through in big moments, Karston pairs his clutch bat with dependable defensive actions and smooth hands on the dirt, solidifying his status as a key 2029 infielder to keep tabs on moving forward.
