Ben Ailsworth (1B/RHP, 2017) Ailsworth has good contact skills and home run power as well as the ability to contribute on the mound.
Avery Combs (3B, 2017) Combs is a consistent bat that hits from the left side and has power to all parts of the field.
Oliver Gilbert (1B/RHP, 2017) Gilbert has a big frame and home run power at the plate as well as the ability to contribute on the mound.
Hunter Hall (SS/RHP, 2017) Hall has decent speed and hits for a high average with power. He is the Hilltoppers’ top returning arm.
Matt Harpster (UTL, 2016) Harpster is very versatile defensively and can play both middle infield spots and all of the outfield. He has a speed that makes him a threat on the bases.
Jacob Selden (C, 2017) Selden has a decent bat from the left side and is a very good receiving catcher who also throws well.
Warner Sommardahl (RHP/UTL, 2016) Sommardahl has good command on the mound and has some pop in his bat.

SEASON OUTLOOK
E.C. Glass is coming off of a very good 2015 season that saw the Hilltoppers win the Conference 23 regular season championship and finish as the tournament runners-up. Glass reached the Regional Tournament before their season came to an end. The 2016 Hilltoppers should again be a strong team this spring. Glass has a lot of depth on the mound behind Hall that should allow them to compete there every night and the defense is solid with Selden anchoring it from behind the plate. The lineup is deep with power throughout it, with the only potential issue being a lack of impact speed throughout the lineup. E.C. Glass will be competitive again this spring in a very good Conference 23 as the Hilltoppers look to return to the 4A West Regional.
