aPBR Notes

9.29.16 - Virginia commit. High ceiling athlete with ton of projection and will be one to keep an eye on in June. Simple set up at the plate with free hands that get direct to the baseball. Creates fast bat speed with a smooth swing. Nice balance throughout. Smooth actions in the field. May project to a corner infield spot as he fills frame. Longer, loose arm action with carry on throws.  Ran a 7.08 60-yard dash.

Morris is currently the Top ranked player in the PBR Virginia 2017 Rankings and ranked No. 47 in the PBR Overall Rankings, which is comprised of the top players from our 33-state coverage area. Morris is also ranked on PBR National Scouting Director Nathan Rode's PBR Draft 100, which lists the Top 100 high school players heading into the 2017 MLB Amateur draft. He is committed to Virginia
