On Saturday February 17th PBR Virginia/DC will host the Preseason All-State at the Virginia Sports Complex facility in Ruther Glen, VA. The biggest event prior to the high school season in Virginia will feature some of the top players and prospects around the commonwealth and put them all on one stage in front of the PBR scouting staff. As with all PBR events, all players will get their performance videoed and professionally edited to update or start their PBR Profile. Today we spotlight one of the players on the roster for the event.

Scouting Report

10.21.17: Dunford is 5-9 with an athletic frame, he hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance. Short leg kick stride, smooth load back with a wrap, some rhythm to swing. Good hips and some balance to his swing. Short to ball, slightly uphill swing path, pull preference, line drive swing works really well when working middle of field, exit velocity was 84. At short, gets behind ball and fields with a wide base and average hands. Quicker clean exchange, short arm action from a low three-quarters arm slot, infield velocity was 77.

6.27.17:  Dunford is 5-8 with an athletic frame, hits from the right side from a wide athletic stance. Short stride slightly open, loads back with a wrap, some rhythm to his swing, some hip action and balance to his swing as well. Short to the ball, slight uphill swing with extension, works the middle of the field and has some power potential to pull side, exit velocity was 80, barrels ball consistently. At third base, fields ball with wide base, average hands, plays through ball. Clean exchange, throws from low three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, infield velocity was 69.
