Tomah 12, Riverside University 1

The Riverside University Tigers wound up on the wrong side of an 12-1 score on Wednesday at the Metrodome in Minnesota, tasting defeat at the hands of Tomah.

The Tigers were only able to muster two hits, one by John Parlier and the other by Charles Parlier.

Steven Jackson got on base twice for the Tigers, drawing two walks.

Jeremy Gray handled Tomah's lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Gray allowed one earned run on four hits and three walks over 3 2/3 innings.

Alex Thompson got the win for Tomah. He allowed one run over 1 2/3 innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered one hit.

The fourth inning saw the Tigers score their only run on the day on an error.

Tomah built upon its lead with three runs in the sixth. A clutch error scored Coty Gular to open the scoring in the frame. That was followed up by Christian Wagenson's single, scoring Kyle Walensky.

St. Thomas More 9, Milwaukee Hamilton 1

The Cavaliers of St. Thomas More handled Milwaukee Hamilton with ease on Wednesday. The Cavaliers put up a 6 spot in the bottom of the third and never looked back winning by a score of 9-1.

Junior Nick Cheaney led the way for the Cavaliers with 2 hits and 2 RBI. Cheaney also picked up the win on the mound going 5 innings and recording 11 strikeouts while giving up just one hit.

Franklin Simpson (KY) 7, Union Grove 2

Union Grove HS fell in defeat at the hands of Franklin-Simpson (KY) as the Broncos traveled south to Myrtle Beach, SC. Union grove lost by a score of 7-2. The Broncos started hot scoring a run in each of their first to innings, but give up four runs in the top of the third proved too much for the Bronco offense to make up.
