Racine Lutheran-Prairie 14, Catholic Central 2
Zach Mehring went 2-for-3 at the plate, but Catholic Central Hilltoppers Varsity fell 14-2 to Racine Lutheran on Thursday.

Jordan Ganther recorded the win for Racine Lutheran. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Racine Lutheran easily handled Catholic Central Hilltoppers Varsity pitching as seven hitters combined for 15 hits, eight RBI and 12 runs scored.

Caleb Thompson was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with three RBI to lead the LP’s attack.

Brookfield Academy 11, St. John’s Northwestern 1
The Brookfield Academy Blue Knights shut the door early on St. John's Northwestern, capturing an 11-1 victory on Thursday.

With nine runs in the first three innings, the Blue Knights left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI single by Jake Kolasinski in the first inning and a three-run triple by Kolasinski, an RBI single by Nate Stolte, and a groundout by Merrick Wells during the second inning supplied the early offense for Brookfield Academy.

Kolasinski racked up five RBI on four hits for the Blue Knights.

Al Dentice was solid on the mound. St. John’s managed just one hit off of Dentice, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out five during his four innings of work.

Northwoods 15, Flambeau 5
Despite Cordell Mateski's 2-3 performance at the plate on Thursday, Flambeau Falcons Varsity took a 15-5 loss at the hands of Northwoods at Flambeau.

Northwoods pounded Flambeau Falcons Varsity pitching, as seven hitters combined for nine hits, seven RBI and 15 runs scored. Northwoods posted four runs in each of the second, third and fourth.

Manitowoc Lutheran 5, Valders 2
Both Manitowoc Lutheran and Valders put runners aboard on Thursday, but it was Manitowoc Lutheran that was able to take advantage, pulling out a 5-2 win.

Valders out-hit the Lancers six to four, but Valders stranded five runners on base.

The Lancers relied on Peter Menges to eat up innings en route to the win. Menges pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, six hits and one walk while striking out four.

Algoma 11, Savastopol 4
Sevastopol lost 11-4 to Algoma Thursday.

Three of Sevastopol’s runs were scored thanks to timely hitting by Cody Giesseman. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Andrew Gorz got the win for Algoma. He allowed four runs over five innings. Gorz struck out six, walked three and gave up five hits.

Algoma 7, Sevastopol 5
Sam Koss got the win for Algoma despite allowing five runs over seven innings. Koss struck out nine, walked four and gave up four hits.

Algoma went up for good in the third, scoring five runs on a two-run double by Austen Dart, a two-run error, and an RBI single by Cody Hancke.

Osceola 5, Amery 4
Cody Moore both hit and pitched well for the Warriors, but it wasn't enough as Amery fell to Osceola 5-4 on Thursday.

Moore led the Warriors' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had two RBI. He doubled in the fourth inning.

Moore handled Osceola's lineup well, racking up seven strikeouts. He gave up just three hits over 4 1/3 shutout innings.

Lowney recorded the win for Osceola. He allowed four runs over six innings. Lowney struck out five, walked six and gave up five hits.

Lakeland Union 11, Mosinee 5
A six-run explosion in the first inning spurred Lakeland Union to an 11-5 win in five innings over Mosinee on Thursday.

Even though Michael Zarosi allowed five runs over five innings he still recorded the victory. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Logan Murphy went 2-for-3 for Lakelan Union with three RBI and a run scored.
