Eastern Wisconsin Open: Top Overall Prospects

On Aug. 20, we visited Wildwood Baseball Park in Sheboygan, Wis., to host the Eastern Wisconsin Open. Nearly 50 prospects attended the Sheboygan-area event, and a couple have even committed since. This event is becoming a feature along the tail end of the summer’s busy showcase circuit.

Today, in our final look at the event, we’ll rank the top-five prospects within each of the three classes represented in Sheboygan.

Check out where the uncommitted RHP/OF J.D. Schultz (Stevens Point, 2019), who was up to 88 mph on the mound, landed on the 2019 top five. Speaking of Schultz, all three of his Stevens Point teammates earned spots on the 2020 rankings, but in which order? And finally, two 2021s emerged his high-follow prospects at Wildwood Park: LHP Bryce Leedle (Markesan) and C Trett Joles (Boyceville). Who else from the sophomore class rounded out the top five?
