Whitnall HS right handed pitcher Josh Serio recently committed to Heartland Community College. As the ace of the Falcon staff, Serio led the team with a 5-2 record and a 0.94 ERA in 2012.

 Serio is a big bodied 6-foot-1, 215-pound right handed pitcher. Serio works from a ¾ arm slot with little effort, producing a fastball up to 88 mph. With Serio’s easy arm action and physical frame it looks like there is plenty of velocity still in the tank.

Serio should bring an immediate impact to the Hawks' 2014 season.
