On June 27, PBR Wisconsin hosted its first-ever Madison Open at Sun Prairie East High School's Summit Field in Sun Prairie, Wis. Around 30 players made it out to this event, providing us with updated looks and a new list of prospects to follow in an area of Wisconsin that regularly produces some of the state’s top talent.

In the week that followed this event, we produced post-event analysis that includes performance highlights inside of our Quick Hits story, a look at the traditional stats measured within our Statistical Analysis piece, batted-ball and swing metrics captured in our Positional Data Dive, and pitch data compiled in our Pitcher Data Dive.

Below is a look at all of the position players from the event with a few standouts that deserve a mention.

Two left-handed hitters from Jefferson HS who stood out were Aidan Kammer (2024) and Bentley Wagner (2026). Kammer made his biggest statement during BP when he showed off a strong left-handed swing, geared repeating hard line drive contact back up the middle and to the pull-side of the diamond. During his round, Kammer’s hardest hit ball came off at 95.8 mph, and he averaged 91.4 mph throughout, both of which were event highs. Wagner has an upside 6-foot-1, 150-pound frame, ran a 7.29 60 and showed a direct bat path through the zone with the ability to elevate the baseball and peaked at 87.7 mph off the bat. 

Bennett O’Connor (Middleton) and Ethan Hibicke (Sussex Hamilton) are two athletically-built 2025 right-handed hitters who took some of the better offensive rounds of the day. O’Connor took a relatively low-effort round with feel for the barrel, driving his furthest ball 292 feet on the day, all while showcasing the ability to impact pitches, producing a max EV of 88.7 mph. Hibicke features a smooth, yet strong, right-handed swing that has the ability to backspin the ball to all parts of the field. Hibicke was consistently on the barrel during his round and recorded a max EV of 87.2 mph, and averaged 83.6 mph, too. 

Luke Krull (Xavier, 2024) is a 6-foot-3, 180-pound athlete who recorded some of the day's best marks in the Swift athletic testing. His 1.63 time in the 10-yard split was the fastest of the event, and his 6.88 was nearly the day's top time too. Krull was 80 mph from the outfield on his throws home, and his top exit speed was 91.3 mph from the right-handed box.

Body: 5-10, 195-pounds. Large build, athletic build, some strength throughout.
Hit: RHH. Stock base, upright body, up and down stride, minimal wasted movement and finishes on balance. Short path, extends past contact, line drive approach that uses the whole field, easy pop off the bat. 66.5 mph bat speed with 10 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 83.8 mph. 321’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 74 mph. Short, quick arm action, flashed life across the diamond and played accurately to the bag.

Seth Austin, Sun Prairie West (WI), 2024

Brady Barman, Waunakee (WI), 2025
