The Power 25 has been updated for Week 3 of the WIAA season. This week we see a change at No. 2 and No. 3 with Eau Claire North and Sun Prairie jumping over Indian Trail. Let’s take our weekly look around the Power 25 with notes, new additions, and upcoming schedule.  

• No. 1 Janesville Craig holds down the top spot with a 5-0 week, to run their season record to 11-0.

• No. 2 Eau Claire North and No. 3 Sun Prairie jumped over No. 4 Indian Trail, who went 2-2 down in Florida. Eau Claire North swept a series with Hudson and Sun Prairie picked up a solid win over No. 5 Oconomowoc.

• No. 8 Beloit Turner jumped up a spot after going 5-0 on the week and beating 3 ranked teams including Catholic Memorial, Jefferson, and Westosha Central.

• No. 13 Columbus continues to roll with a 3-0 week to push their record to 8-0.

• No. 15 Catholic Memorial moved up from No. 18 after a strong showing in the DeBoer Diamond Classic. The Crusaders lost the title game to No. 8 Beloit Turner 7-6.

• No. 17 Fond du Lac and No. 18 Hortonville continue their slow climb up the rankings. Hortonville had a 3-0 week to move to 9-1 on the year.

• New additions to the rankings this week are No. 20 Watertown (8-1), No. 23 St. Mary Catholic (8-0), and No. 24 Whitewater (7-1) who all were on the bubble last week.

• Waupun (12-3), Westosha Central (4-4), and Wilmot (3-4) all dropped out of the rankings.

• Monday: No. 20 Watertown vs. No. 7 Arrowhead

• Tuesday: No. 4 Indian Trail vs. No. 10 Tremper

• Thursday: No. 16 Kimberly vs. No. 18 Hortonville, No. 12 Chippewa Falls vs. No. 11 Eau Claire Memorial, No. 4 Indian Trail vs. No. 10 Tremper, No. 21 Oshkosh North vs. No. 22 Appleton North

• Saturday: No. 3 Sun Prairie vs. No. 16 Kimberly
