Nate DeYoung, 3B, Xavier, 2018

Nate DeYoung7.20.15 - 6-foot-3, 180-pound left-handed hitting infielder, long projectable frame, slender build. Bat shows projection, open stance, tall setup, short stride back to even. Loose hands, whippy bat, good approach, gap to gap type. 85 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed actions on the infield, clean exchange, plays through the baseball with a wider base than most. Arm action is loose and athletic, 77 mph across the infield. On the mound arm worked similarly and gets down the hill. Fastball played with sink down in the zone, 77-78 mph, touched 79 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, gradual action, 69 mph. Flashed a changeup at 73 mph.

JT Reed, OF, Whitnall, 2016
College of Lake County

J.T. Reed9/20/15 - 5-foot-10, 155-pound, switch-hitting outfielder with a lanky, athletic frame. Defensively has a long, loose arm action from a high ¾ arm slot with accurate throws. Plays thru the ball with average hands. Threw 80 mph from the outfield. Offensively hits from a wide base with a balanced setup. Better hitter from the right side in BP. 76 mph exit velocity right handed and 77 mph exit velocity left handed from a tee. Home to first at 4.29.
