Chase Davis, OF, Milton, 2017

Chase Davis2/28/16 - 5-foot-11, 165-pound outfielder/catcher, athletically strong build. Well above-average runner, 6.93 laser timed in the 60. Left-handed hitter, slightly tall setup, balanced stance, quick leg kick trigger, average balance. Athletic type swing, flat path, some length, occasional pull side approach. 95 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm plays over the top, short arm action, 78 mph from the outfield, 72 mph out of the crouch. Profiles best in the outfield, showed some fluid actions. Pop times ranged 2.16-2.33 out of the crouch.

Jayden Adrians, C, Green Bay Preble, 2017
Iowa Lakes CC

Jayden Adrians6/16/16 - 6-foot-2, 210-pound right-handed hitting infielder with a strong body. Offensively, balance set up, back load, balance on follow through. Fluid rhythm, bat speed, uphill bat path, gap to gap approach, flashed power. Recorded one of the top exit velocities of the event at 94 mph. Defensively, fluid footwork, flashed soft hands. Long arm action, high ¾ slot. Clocked at 82 mph across the infield. 7.69 runner in the 60.


Nathan Aide, OF, Franklin, 2017
Madison JC

Nathan Aide6/16/16 - 6-foot-1, 177-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. Showed athleticism running the 60 at 6.97. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top arm slot. Accurate throws with carry throwing 86 mph from the outfield. Plays thru the ball with athletic actions and quick footwork. At the plate this from a balanced setup with a short stride and good balance. Spray hitter with a short, uphill swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 90 mph exit velocity from a tee.

Isaac Lawler, RHP, Bradford, 2017
UW-Parkside

Isaac Lawler2/28/16 - 6-foot-2, 205-pound right-handed pitcher, large build. Tall and fall delivery, works online and stays balanced. Arm action has some length, over the top slot, showed quickness. Fastball is mostly straight, 80-81 mph. Curveball flashed short 11/5 action, showed control. Changeup sat 71-73 mph, flashed arm side run.

 


Will Conard, RHP, Green Bay Preble, 2017

Minnesota State-Mankato

Will Conard6.16.16 - 5-foot-11, 160-pound right-handed pitcher, slender wiry frame, live loose body. Delivery works with regular effort, square landing, finishes to first base side. Arm action is quick and loose, over the top slot. Fastball mostly straight, four seam type, topped at 87 mph, sat 84-86 mph. Curveball played 12/6, 66-69 mph. Straight changeup thrown with fastball arm speed, 74-77 mph. Live arm with upside, overall three pitch control can improve.


Logan Gruenwald, SS, Wausau West, 2017

Winona State

Logan Grunenwald6.16.16 - 6-foot-3, 192-pound right-handed hitting two-way prospect. Offensively, closed, balanced set up, drop load, leg lift, short stride. Flashed bat speed, long bat path, line drive approach. Recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph. Defensively, short loose arm action, high ¾ slot, flashed carry and accuracy. Clocked at 85 mph across the diamond. 7.18 runner in the 60. On the mound, high ¾ slot, quick arm speed, short arm action. Smooth rhythm, in-line direction, square landing, and athletic finish. Fastball, run, hard action, sat 82-84. Slider, 11/5 action, tight spin, sat 72-77. Changeup, near fastball arm speed, sink movement, sat 75-78.  Showed feel for all three pitches.

Nicholas Steele, 3B, Cudahy, 2017
McHenry County College

Nicholas Steele2/28/16 - 5-foot-11, 178-pound right-handed hitting third baseman. Offensively hits from a wide base with short stride and wrap load. Hard contact with aggressive hacks. Showed strength thru contact with 96 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.51. Defensively has a long arm action from a high ¾ slot. Threw 79 mph across the infield with some effort.

 

Evan Spry, 3B, Janesville Craig, 2017
Creighton

Evan Spry2/28/16 - 6-foot-1, 175-pound left-handed hitting RHP/3B. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long, quick arm action. Tall and fall delivery with some rhythm. Fastball was firm at 78-79 topping out at 80 mph. Curveball showed inconsistent shape, mostly 12-6 at 63-65 mph. Maintained armspeed on changeup at 72-73 mph. Offensively hits from an open stance with a short stride. Pull hitter with a long swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 94 mph exit velocity. Ran the 60 at 7.47. Defensively has a long arm action from a high ¾ slot. Throws showed carry across the infield at 82 mph. Slower actions with soft hands.
