Ian Drays, C, Jefferson, 2018
Northern Illinois

Ian DraysFuture Games 2016 - 6-foot, 200-pound catcher, strong stocky build. Offensively shows a strong bat, hits from a balanced stance, quiet setup. Bat strength with pull side pop, takes aggressive hacks, 96 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm played at 75 mph out of the crouch, Pop times ranged 2.03-2.11. Durable receiver, gets out of the crouch well. 7.49 runner in the 60. Projects as an offensive catcher with middle of the lineup potential.


Kyle Hammitt, C, Muskego, 2017

Concordia (WI)

Kyle Hammitt2/28/16 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound catcher, carries some strength. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, slightly open stance, short stride, gets it down early, rhythmic hitter. Smooth loading action, path is level through contact, good path to the baseball. 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively posted solid pop times at 2.00-2.04, gets out of the crouch efficiently. Arm plays at 79 mph from the crouch, lower slot than a typical catcher, solid agility behind the dish. Good athlete, 7.08 runner, well-above average for his position.

Trent Jones, OF, Westosha Central, 2017
UW-Stevens Point

Trent Jones2/28/16 - 5-foot-10, 155-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. Defensively has a short arm action from a high ¾ slot. Plays thru the ball with average hands. Throws showed some accuracy with carry, throwing 82 mph from the outfield. Offensively hits from a balanced, slightly open stance. Smooth load to backside with a short stride and average balance. Short, uphill swing path. 79 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.41.


Leighton Myers, C, Little Chute, 2017

Kankakee CC

Leighton Myers2/21/16 - 6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed hitting C/RHP. Offensively hits from a tall, open stance with a short stride back to even. Flashed a fast bat with an uphill path. Showed strength thru contact with 86 mph exit velocity form a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.49. Defensively has a long arm action from an over the top arm slot. Gains ground towards second base.  Popped 2.12-2.22 and threw 75 mph from the crouch. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a stab on the backside. Tall and fall delivery with a closed landing and crossfire action. Slide step from the stretch. Fastball sat 73-75 topping out at 77 mph. Curveball showed 12-6 shape at 64-66 mph. Slider flashed lateral action at 67-68 mph. Changeup sat 72-73 mph.

Bryce Edwards, 2B, Westosha Central, 2017
Carthage College

Bryce Edwards2/28/16 - 6-foot-2, 160-pound right-handed hitting second baseman with a lanky frame. Defensively has a loose arm action from a high ¾ slot. Plays thru the ball with average hands. Threw 75 mph across the infield. Offensively hits from an open stance with a long, drop load to backside, slight bar. Short swing path. 82 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.64.
