The Southern Wisconsin Prospect ID Showcase at the STiKS Baseball Academy brought several talented prospects from all graduating classes.
2016 RHP’s Ryan Schmitt (Arrowhead) and Nathan Brown (Arrowhead) impressed with their fastballs touching 84 mph and 83 mph respectively. 2015 RHP’s Logan Wonn (Oconomowoc) and Chris Bernatz (Arrowhead) both touched 83 mph as well.
Zac Cain (Plymouth, 2015) ran the only sub 7.0 60 finishing in 6.93. Teddy Endres (James Madison, 2015) led the outfield arms touching 85 mph from his crow hop. Noah Jensen (Tremper, 2015) showed off the strongest infield arm at 81 mph across the diamond.
Exit velocities were overall impressive but Matt DeYoung (Xavier, 2016) posted the top exit speed from the tee at 89 mph.
